Frequently Asked Questions
What will OneRepublic play in concert?
The band broke new ground in 2007 with their molding of indie pop, alternative rock, and R&B on their 2008 debut, Dreaming Out Loud. Yet just six years later and the band has slowly and steadily evolved their sound through three extremely popular records. They have stood the test of time in this rapid music industry, and it has a lot to do with their knack for a smart pop hook and some moody atmospheres.
The band has also treated each of their releases as an event, and relied heavily on it for that small era. This is a large reason why 2013’s Native makes up almost all of their setlist this tour. Aside from it being named ‘The Native Tour,’ the band boasts a new creative success, performing 8-10 songs from their new record which is the overwhelming majority of the setlist. This includes tunes such as “Feel Again,” “I Lived,” and “Something I Need.” They sometimes open up with Native track “Light it Up,” but it is also sometimes replaced by deep album cut “Don’t Look Down.”
This brings us right into the first album, Dreaming Out Loud, and its representation this far into their career. Because of the overabundance of Native material, big hits and generally wonderful songs get omitted from the roster. This includes the beautiful “Say (All I Need)” and “Apologize,” though the latter may appear every once in a while. The group does bring out “Stop and Stare” and sometimes the rather overlooked tune, “Come Home.” All in all, the first two records are largely lost in the shuffle for this tour.
OneRepublic was wise enough to bring out the best from 2009’s Waking Up, including the trotting “All the Right Moves” and their incredible “Secrets” which went on to dominate the charts the year of its release. At the end of the evening, the band plays almost the entire Native record while peppering in a few popular tunes from their career. This is likely the last time Native will be so represented, and it is certainly the group’s last major outing in support of the release.

Who is opening the show?
OneRepublic has top billing, but they are earning direct support from the nearly as popular alternative rock/pop outfit, The Script. The group is still supporting their third studio album appropriately titled #3, and went on their own headlining tour before embarking as a support act under OneRepublic. The Script’s two most popular tunes include “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved” and “Breakeven (Falling to Pieces).”
Supporting both acts on this new tour is the more country/pop oriented group, American Authors. They are earning quite a large buzz in only their first year as a band.
How long is an OneRepublic concert?
OneRepublic is not necessarily known for being overindulgent. Their tightly knotted and paced setlist ends at about 95 minutes.
How do I get access to presale tickets for OneRepublic’s tour?
The band is working closely with two of the most popular options for presale tickets including the American Express presale platform. You need an American Express card to make the purchase and an account with TicketMaster for acquiring the tickets.
You can also use the alternative presale option, Presale Passwords Info. The independent presale service collects passwords and general information for the majority of major tours. You will still need an account with them to gain the presale access, but they are the most viable option for non- American Express cardholders.
Lastly, tickets are available through the official OneRepublic website page. There is no account access or fan club membership required for tickets or VIP upgrades if applicable and available.
Who is OneRepublic’s publicist and press contact?
The band is associated with the rather small management company, Joe D Ambrosio Management. He collaborates with individuals in both music and sports and can be reached at info@jdmanagement.com.
Concert Reviews
“One thing that was apparent is that the group is made up of musicians at heart, and perfectionists in recreating their music on stage in a very real way. Their crew quite masterfully swapped out instruments (large on small) on stage in-between each song, helping to create a very memorable night that was a tapestry of the great music that OneRepublic has created.” – Jason Debord of the Rock Subculture
“OneRepublic was on the top of their game last night. They started off with Secrets then played some of their older songs that the crowd knew well enough to Karoke too. Every time the band needed a break instead of stopping the show we got to watch some incredible drum, guitar, and cello solo’s! I don’t know which I was looking forward to more by the intermission part of the show.” – Sylvia Boyadzhyan of The Young Folks
“Secrets” and “Stop and Stare” kicked off the set. Front man Ryan Tedder, also known for penning hit tunes for Beyonce (“Halo”), Leona Lewis (“Bleeding Love”) and Kelly Clarkson (“Already Gone”), earned screams from the crowd when he hit a few high notes that would give Justin Timberlake’s falsetto a run for its money. The energy picked up with “All the Right Moves.” Tedder showed off his moves when he hung up his guitar mid-song to slide across the rotating stage and jam on the keyboard.” – Stefanie Arias of My San Antonio
