Frequently Asked Questions
What will Keith Urban play in concert?
Keith Urban has a productive career in music, with a new album release nearly every other year since his prolific career ‘restart’ in 1999. He has enough savviness to balance his material out in his sets, and enough skill to not have one single album overwhelm any others in quality and importance.
His latest album, 2013’s Fuse, does take precedence here with about nine songs performed on any given night with “Come Back to Me,” a setlist staple. Urban swaps out other tracks, including “Little Bit of Everything” and “Shame.”
Urban has only made minor adjustments to his recent setlists. “Better Thing” is sometimes played before “Good Thing” towards the end of the set. Other minor setlist changes include the addition of “We Were Us” before “Kiss a Girl” that happens on a few setlists.
In all, Urban performs about three cuts from all his major releases, excluding the most recent and his largely forgotten self-titled debut. Urban’s deepest catalog pick is from 2002’s Golden Road, where he performs “Somebody Like You” as well as “You Look Good in My Shirt.”

Concert Reviews
“What he takes from country is an open, approachable demeanor. He took the stage with the house lights still on, grabbed a banjo and started playing – a mark of confidence, but not ego. His smile was omnipresent and authentic. He encouraged the 9,000 in attendance to sing along, and praised them for doing so. The only irony of the night was his first number: “Long Hot Summer,” which hopefully provided escape from a long, brutal Michigan winter.” – John Serba of Massachusetts Live
“Urban picked up a handheld spotlight, shining it on fans and studying their handmade signs and finally inviting one fan onstage. He took a selfie with her and then seated Tara from St. Paul in a recliner, front and center on the stage, and asked her to choose a song from a list of requests. She opted for “Where the Blacktop Ends,” and Urban remarked, “It’s such an acoustic song.” He then accommodated her with a solo acoustic version.” – Jon Bream of CMT Online
“He brought lots of guitars with him to the Columbia amphitheater and delighted the numerous gearheads in the crowd by changing axes from song to song throughout the 110-minute set. So while most of the audience was singing out every word to, say, the equally mindless and melodic single, “Kiss a Girl,” some portion was content to look longingly at the beat-up parts guitar Urban had strapped on for that number…. As he bent and quick-picked and just plain had his way with all six of its strings.” – David McKenna of the Washington Post
